I stand and there
are trees sunning
themselves long a
brook going and
jays and jewelry
in all leafages
because I pause.

I look down and down into the darkness.

Henri Matisse - I really love the movement within this piece. The figure all the way to the left has such effortless precision to the line, the curve starting at the fall of the hand down to the point of the foot. Effortless.
